Amazing food! Great atmosphere and the staff are really helpful too. Genuinely relaxing and chilled night out. The scotch egg is awesome and the steak cooked to perfection (requested blue)

As a lover of steak, i was enticed to this place from their various social media posts - the food always looked out of this world. We finally visited and I'm happy to report their photography is accurate. I had a 10oz sirloin steak, cooked blue, and it was literally the best steak i've ever had in my life. It was tender, the perfect consistency, and a lovely rich flavour. The place itself is well decorated and a pleasant environment. We also found the staff to be very attentive without being intrusive. They were also very friendly and chatty, engaging in conversation with most guests. In terms of negatives, there are very few tables (around 8?) when the place could desperately do with more. The bar itself was busy (it was a Saturday night) which made things fairly loud. It would be nice if the eating area could be closed off a bit more to prevent lower the noise levels. In terms of price, there's no getting away from the fact this is an expensive place. Don't expect to walk in and spend 30 on a meal for two. I didn't feel especially worried about this though as the food really was superb.Visit there for a special occasion and thank me later!

It was okay, however we left early as the the pregnant lady next to us was served under-cooked chicken and, rightly so, very upset about it.We enjoyed it for the most part, the food was lovely but the service was very slow so we didn't order dessert.*Response to the reply below*We dined at 18:30 on 24th November, as some friends gave us a Don't Tell the Duke voucher as a wedding gift.

Wholesome food, quirky decor and good music. Our service was a bit gruff.

Really nice atmosphere and style inside. Very cosy. They had a couple of veggie/ vegan options. We went with the falafel burger. It was better than I would normally expect in a pub. Probably would go with the truffle pasta next time which was the veggie option recommended. Service was really good. Some of the dishes are a bit expensive but there are more value options as well. I think it is priced fairly for the service and food.
