I have been using Richard and the team now for over 20 years now and always get excellent service and advice. They will generally be able to match any prices, and only sell decent quality equipment. They don't try and con you with useless warranties or interest "free" deals. Highly recommended.

Hugely pretentious owner with a real superiority complex This place mainly excels at selling to people with more money than sense. The kind of establishment who tries to tell you that 100+ HDMI cables are necessary for example. Yeah, 'that' type...Avoid at all costs. Try Crampton and Moore in Harrogate, they're far friendlier & more competitive.
Took an out of warranty item in for repair. The manufacturer offered no explanation for the failure and presented a large bill. Sevenoaks did the opposite, addressed the issue, made a significant cash gesture and undertook the repair themselves. Excellent approach to after sales for these "big ticket" items.
Went to purchase an advertised 179 amplifier and clearly stated it was for a budget set up and yet was shown a 699 product = poor sales technique. However my main annoyance here was that on 2 occasions he criticised his assistant. A manager criticising staff to customers is showing himself up as a poor manager/trainer. Bought my intended amp because of the offer but it wasn't an enjoyable purchase. Star for ex stock product.
