The food concept here is perfect for my tastes, lots of fresh veg, gluten and dairy free, if on the expensive side, the food has been worth it. However, having been several times, the service is the off-putting thing, it is often slow mainly due to low staff count for the customer numbers, especially if you have to sit upstairs. I decided to to go elsewhere at 9.30 this morning for that very reason.Staff also vary enormously, some are warm and helpful, whereas others give you the feeling that you are far too much trouble.
Went on New years day, orders a turmeric coffee and a lemon, ginger and aloe infusion. the coffee was luke warm at best and the infusion was just hot water. There was a lemon and ginger slice in said hot water but i would be amazed if anyone could taste a difference. Would not recommend for simply drinks. didnt try food, maybe its nice.
Just called for coffee. Seemed a popular place. Nothing to dislike. Didn't try the food but what I saw looked fine.
My husband and myself called in here yesterday morningHe thoroughly enjoyed his breakfast of poached eggs, with asparagus and baconI however ended up with toast, butter and compote I almost had a fit when I saw the prices on the menu and if you like me don't like eggs or smoked bacon then there is very little to choose from I must however compliment on the toiletsVery clean and smelling of bleach
Good coffee, central location. If anything, wish there were more seats and the place was a touch bigger.
