Well done specsavers, your optician saw a problem with my left eye. He arranged for me to visit St James's hospital Eye A & E department. The doctor there said your optician had done well to spot my problem. I was not aware of a problem. Thanks to your optician I will now get the treatment I need.
Popped in early Saturday to see if there were any appointments as my two year eye test was overdue and got an appointment 1 hour later which was ideal as I'd gone to get my hair cut originally. Attended to immediately on arriving, had my glaucoma test and eye pictures done, then in for the eye test with virtually no waiting. The lady optometrist was efficient, pleasant and explained everything. I needed new lenses and the young lady who measured me and helped me choose frames was pleasant and helpful and speeded things up as I was close to the dreaded Morrisons 2 hour car parking limit. I came away around 380 lighter but that was for expensive varifocal lenses with anti glare and reactolite. Just wish I'd thought ahead and taken the free eye test voucher worth 25.I always go to Specsavers even though there are 2 other places in wetherby because a) they are open at weekends and b) Specsavers sponsor my camera club which is greatly appreciated.
