Such a pretty location and really REALLY great food.
Lovely hotel with good facilities and lovely walking. Staff were great and food was excellent. Close to York too.
Spa was very basic, only pool and hot tub, stream room did not work. Restaurant good with excellent quality food. Rooms plain but clean.
Waited quite a long time for a hot chocolate for my daughter..We were part of a wedding party. A room had been set aside for our breakfast however, no staff to greet us. We had quite a wait for tea/coffee, juice etc. Bed really comfy. A bath as well as shower and very hot water. Bog standard sachets of coffee in room which was a let down but there was a small fridge with some fresh milk in it.A special thank you to Kevin. He was awesome.
We had a very relaxing spa day here for my sister's birthday. We enjoyed a delicious afternoon tea, and my massage therapist was just so lovely. I'd happily visit again. The location and wonderful views make it feel like a real mini holiday.
